The Drostdy-Hof Shiraz Merlot proudly represents the excellence the winery has to offer. The finest Merlot and Shiraz grapes are carefully selected from the Stellenbosch, Paarl, and Worcester regions. Thanks to their favorable southwest exposure, these vineyards benefit from cooling sea breezes, resulting in grapes that retain their fruity aromas and acidity. The grapes are harvested by hand, contributing to the exceptional quality of this wine.
The taste of the Drostdy Hof Shiraz Merlot is a celebration of soft and rounded flavors. Each sip reveals layers of red and black fruit, interwoven with black pepper, spices, vanilla, and plums. This harmonious blend makes for a delightful everyday wine that pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes, from meat to pasta. Its purity and ripeness, evident in the hand-picked grapes, make the Shiraz Merlot a reliable choice for any occasion.
Drostdy Hof Shiraz Merlot is more than just a wine; it's an emblem of South African winemaking artistry and tradition. It's an embodiment of reliability and accessibility that has already captured the hearts of countless wine drinkers.
