The pride of all Italian wines, and a beautiful reflection of the Italian terroir. We've been convinced for years of the incredible quality of this high-flyer from the Farnese winery. Moreover, the Edizione Cinque Autoctoni Fantini has received a remarkable 99 points from Italian wine guru Luca Maroni. Edizione Cinque Autoctoni Fantini is a wine entirely indigenous to the region and will make your taste buds dance with joy. The various grapes together form a harmonious and balanced blend. A red wine you absolutely shouldn't miss.

Edizione Cinque Autoctoni Fantini consisting of five grape varieties

As the wine's name suggests, it features five indigenous grape varieties. The grape blend for this Edizione Cinque Autoctoni Farnese is 33% Montepulciano, 25% Sangiovese, 30% Primitivo, 7% Negroamaro, and 5% Malvasia Nera. Each is a top Italian wine that brings out the best in each other. This blend is one of a kind, reflecting the exceptional craftsmanship of Farnese's winemakers. Only the very best grapes are used. After a hand harvest and rigorous selection, this Edizione Cinque Autoctoni Farnese is aged in oak for 10 to 12 months in the Farnese cellars. The oak is a blend of both French and American oak. This gives this Italian red wine a wonderfully robust flavor. And it certainly paid off!

Edizione Cinque all the beauty in 1 bottle

This wine still leaves us speechless. Edizione Cinque Autoctoni Fantini offers depth, complexity, and is simply delicious. Ripe cherries, plums, and blackberries. But also tobacco, toast, vanilla, and chocolate shape both the aroma and the palate. So incredibly full, yet this wine remains incredibly smooth. It's more than deserved that this Farnese red wine has been awarded 99 points by Italian wine guru Luca Maroni. Our advice: open a bottle and settle in! We bet you'll fall in love with this Italian gem!
