Only a few bottles are shipped to the Netherlands each year, and as you probably know, a magnum bottle develops much more beautifully! Therefore, we must offer a limited supply of one bottle per customer. This Pinot Noir is lightly fruity, soft, and sweet. It has a spicy, complex fruit aroma, revealing hints of its beautiful, original character. The grapes used for this wine are grown in Walker Bay, where a cool maritime climate prevails and the soil is stony and rich in clay. Yields are generally small, around 35hl/ha, and Hamilton Russell's philosophy of allowing the soil type to express itself in their wines gives the wine a certain closeness, tannins, and a longer finish, balancing the power and smoothness of this Pinot Noir.
