A true family business, it is managed by the Lindner family, now in its sixth generation. The winery's goal is to produce premium wines sourced 100% from the Barossa region using grape varieties that excel in the region. The Live Wire represents an energetic evolution of the traditional style introduced by the migrating ancestors in the 1840s. The Live Wire Riesling is a unique piece of work! Hand-picked from a single, unique vineyard thriving on ancient soils in the cooler reaches of the Eden Valley, the Live Wire Riesling is carefully pressed and fermented at a low temperature, retaining a small amount of natural residual sugar to create a balance with the Riesling's freshness. After fermentation, the Live Wire Medium Sweet Riesling can continue to mature on the lees for several months.
