The Salice Salentino region is known for its characterful, full-bodied wines with a soft attack, and that's certainly a success. In this Salice Salentino from the Mocavero winery, we find hints of chocolate and herbs, black cherries, on the aroma. A lovely, sultry aroma, spicy and pleasant. The palate is beautifully full and powerful, juicy and deliciously firm. Lovely fruit on the palate, with cherries and dried plums, spices, southern and warm. A full-bodied and powerful red wine.
