What a superb wine with a fantastic price-quality ratio, this Pasos de La Capula Tempranillo! Upon pouring, we were immediately captivated by its beautiful deep red color with a purple rim. Nosing the glass, we noted hints of black and red cherries, dried figs, and a touch of licorice. Truly superb! The palate is a lovely, juicy wine, with plenty of fresh fruit and a pleasant body. Rich flavor nuances of plums, black fruit, licorice, and licorice. The finish is mild and smooth, with a subtle strength at the end for a wonderful balance.
