Scaia Corvina Rosso, as the name suggests, is made from the red Corvina grape. A grape that has almost exclusively found its niche in Italy. And fortunately, because we wouldn't have wanted to miss this red grape in the wine world! The Corvina grape for Scaia Rosso grows on vines between three and ten years old. The vines are planted in a calcareous volcanic soil that the locals call "Scaia." It's therefore clear that the Scaia series is named after this soil. The vineyards are planted near Colognola ai Colli in the province of Verona.

The grapes are harvested entirely by hand, with strict selection ensuring only the finest fruit is used for pressing. Furthermore, the Corvina grapes are destemmed by hand to ensure no stems are pressed. After this information, we're left with the impression that we're dealing with a beautiful, pure red wine from Italy. We can hardly wait to finally open the beautiful glass cap of this bottle.

What does the Red Scaia Corvina taste like?

Pouring this Corvina wine immediately reveals its ruby-red color with violet hues. Truly beautiful! The aroma explodes with aromas, including hints of ripe red and black fruit and a light touch of anise and licorice. The palate is soft and creamy, with a beautiful, full structure. It also offers pleasant nuances of ripe red and black fruit, chocolate, and a light spicy undertone. A pleasantly soft red wine with subtle tannins.
