The absolute crown jewel of the Boroli winery. Perhaps even of all of Piedmont, as this masterpiece will not be easily imitated. This is only the fourth vintage released to the public, but it has already achieved iconic status. Absolutely the Nebbiolo grape at its very best. And all thanks to the established Piedmontese Boroli family, who decided to establish a winery in the 1990s. Modest as they are, they named the winery after their family name. Because entrepreneurship runs in the Boroli family's blood, it was no surprise that Boroli wines would acquire such a cult following.
The finest wine from Boroli
Boroli Barolo Brunella absolutely occupies the top spot on the Boroli podium. It is a unique wine, unparalleled in its own right. The Nebbiolo grapes, a Piedmont classic, come from the unique Brunella vineyard in Castiglione Falletto. The grapes grow on a select vineyard of just 2.77 hectares. This once again demonstrates the rarity of this Boroli Barolo Brunella. Because the vines in this vineyard have an average age of 40 years, yields are low. However, the quality is exceptionally high. The 18 months of oak aging further enhance the depth and quality of this Boroli red wine.
The aroma and taste of Boroli Barolo Brunella
The color of this wine alone makes us incredibly happy. As soon as you pour Boroli Barolo Brunella into your glass, the clarity tells you this is going to be a celebration. The fruity yet floral aroma immediately greets you. Fresh red berries blend with violets and a hint of licorice. On the palate, Boroli Barolo Brunella is a beautiful whole. The fruit blends beautifully with the complexity created by the oak aging. In the finish, you'll clearly taste the nuances of balsamic vinegar. Boroli Barolo Brunella is rightfully our vinologists' favorite. A unique red wine where freshness, complexity, and quality go hand in hand. A harmonious glass of wine from the Barolo region that clearly demonstrates that Italy is a wine country of great importance.
