The grapes for Marc Brédif Vouvray are grown on the lower slopes along the Loire Valley in Vouvray and Vernou-sur-Brenne and enjoy a northerly/southern exposure. The vineyards have soils of primarily limestone clay, with some plots having flint clay soils. The vineyards are on average 25-30 years old. The "classic" on this label distinguishes Marc Brédif's traditional Vouvray from the rest of the wine offerings.
