The finest wines from Trapiche

Bodegas Trapiche has its vineyards in the Argentine province of Mendoza. The winery was founded in 1883 by Don Tiburcio Benegas. He had only one goal: to produce the finest wine he could. Trapiche owns a total of 1,075 hectares of vineyard land spread across seven estates. The vines are imported from France. The winery is equipped with the latest winemaking techniques. Bodegas Trapiche's vineyards are located at an altitude of between 630 and 1,000 meters. The climate at this altitude is relatively cool, and the difference in temperature between day and night allows the grapes to develop excellent aromatic qualities and good acidity. Essential for good quality. Today, Bodegas Trapiche is one of the most renowned wineries in Argentina. Trapiche owns 1,075 hectares of vineyards spread across seven estates. These vineyards are located at altitudes ranging from 630 to 1,000 meters. The vines are imported from France. The winery is equipped with the latest winemaking techniques.

A sultry wine from Trapiche

After harvest, the grapes are destemmed and subjected to cold maceration. Fermentation then follows, which takes place at a controlled temperature of 23 to 26 degrees Celsius for a period of fifteen degrees Celsius. Finally, the wine is aged in oak for nine months. This results in a superb bottle of red wine with aromas of toast, minerals, plums, and blackcurrants, with a hint of black pepper. It has a soft, rounded flavor with ripe berry notes. The finish is full and spicy with chewy tannins. A wine that pairs perfectly with various cheeses, but also with a barbecued steak.
