The flagship winery of Delheim. And we certainly understand why. After a single sip of Delheim Chenin Blanc Wild Ferment, you'll be captivated, almost in love. Chenin Blanc is the most widely planted white grape in South Africa, but few wineries know how to cultivate it so well. Delheim's vineyards are located in the heart of Stellenbosch, a renowned wine region known for its renowned wines. With this Chenin Blanc Wild Ferment, the winery demonstrates its position at the top, not only in Stellenbosch, but throughout South Africa.

From Chenin Blanc grape to wine

Chenin Blanc is the definitive white grape of South Africa. It has great potential for producing sensational wines, provided they are treated well. Delheim has been passionately pursuing this for almost 80 years, a fact you can taste in every sip of Delheim Chenin Blanc Wild Ferment. The Chenin Blanc grapes grow close to the Simonsberg Mountains, providing them with excellent protection from extreme weather conditions. After harvest, the grapes are fermented, partially in stainless steel (34%) and partially in oak barrels. The Chenin Blanc Wild Ferment is then aged for another seven months on its own lees. The result is truly astonishing, placing this white wine rightfully among the finest Stellenbosch wines.
