We are so proud to have been selling the impressive wines of Domaine Lafage for several years now. It is considered one of the finest wineries in the Languedoc. It's no wonder Robert Parker regularly visits this winery, which is situated on a 15th-century estate.Domaine Lafage is currently run by the sixth generation, Jean-Marc and Eliane Lafage. This makes Lafage a highly successful family business. Jean-Marc and Eliane have further expanded, innovated, and modernized the winery, and with great success. These days, it's not a question of whether their wines win awards, but how many.
The French wines of Lafage
The winery is situated in a small village, nestled between the southern French city of Perpignan and the coast. The vineyards overlook the mighty Pyrenees, making it, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful vineyards in the Languedoc. Domaine Lafage boasts a whopping 140 hectares, where you'll find a huge variety of grape varieties. Think classics like Chardonnay and Carignan, but also less conventional grape varieties are grown. Grenache, Mourvedre, Vermentino, Viognier, and even the Spanish macabeo are among the varieties grown. This gives Domaine Lafage a very broad selection of wines.Lafage's white wines are renowned. Thanks to their unique blends, the results are always surprising. For example, the Lafage Cote Floral is a floral delight with a perfect balance of Muscat and Viognier. Or how about the Lafage Cuvée Centenaire, which forms a full-bodied pairing with Grenache Blanc or Roussanne? A truly special wine is undoubtedly the Lafage Miraflors Lafabuleuse, whose subtle "sparkle" makes it a unique French wine.
Lafage has the best red wines
It's not just Lafage's white wines that are extravagant. The reds are also worth shouting from the rooftops. How about Lafage Authentique? Or Lafage Retro, where typical French varietals have been given a place. The absolute crown jewel is undoubtedly Lafage Les Onze Terrasses, a red wine made from only the finest grape bunches. The rosé wine from Lafage
As soon as the sun starts shining, there's only one thing on your mind: rosé. Bring the French sunshine into your home with the numerous rosé wines Lafage offers. No frills, no frills, no fuss—just a delicious, thirst-quenching glass of wine. The Lafage Miraflors Rosé is a wine that sells out every year.
